Trump moves New Hampshire’s Leavitt to campaign as press secretary
Leavitt's move from Trump's super PAC to the campaign comes as Trump looks to lock in the Republican nomination

Donald Trump’s campaign tapped former New Hampshire congressional candidate Karoline Leavitt as its national press secretary, coming off a declarative victory in Iowa Monday night.
Longtime Boston conservative talkshow host Howie Carr congratulated Leavitt on the move Tuesday on X.com. A Trump campaign spokesperson did not return a request for comment Wednesday.
Leavitt shuffled from Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc, to the campaign as Trump gears up operations heading into a likely general election rematch with President Joe Biden in November.
But first he’ll have to wrap up the Republican nomination, and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has been staking her hopes on a strong showing in New Hampshire when voters head to the polls there Tuesday.
