Yet, how do we support real news? I scan several on line news sites and all seem slanted to me. That leaves me trending to news/opinion I agree with. The best, most impartial news that I have found is my local news.
I think the best way to do this is to read and consume multiple sources across the spectrum. You’ll find things that you may have missed and then you can pressure test it up against other things that you see.
For what it’s worth I do agree with you on local news. The only issue that they have is that they’re so underfunded they can’t do enough original reporting that they would like to be able to do.
