Exclusive: Paul Manafort advising Trump team via Winter Solstice Holdings in Palm Beach, sources tell 24sight
Trump’s former campaign manager sets up shop at address of his multi-million dollar Florida mansion, according to sources, documents. Manafort denies all.
Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort is reportedly helping the former president’s team, doing business under a company registered to his Palm Beach home, according to interviews and business filings obtained by 24sight.
Winter Solstice Holdings, LLC, was formed four years ago in Delaware by Manafort’s longtime lawyer and lists his wife Kathleen Manafort as a stakeholder. Two people familiar with the organization said the company is actually his.
Manafort broadly denied that he is helping Trump’s third White House bid via the company, saying it’s “wrong info”, when reached by 24sight on Thursday.
Records reviewed by 24sight show that Manafort’s personal lawyer, Bruce Baldinger, formed Winter Solstice Holdings in July 2020 while Manafort was still serving a 47-month sentence for banking and tax fraud.
Manafort picked the name of the company – a building block to regaining his financial footing and starting over again – one person familiar with the arrangement said because it was a sign of better days ahead: after the longest night of the year, days naturally start getting brighter.
